Hi,

Could anyone explain to me what relationship these people are to my grandfather.

My gt gt grandmother had 8 children and married twice.

Children 1 - 4 were her first husbands and never changed their surnames. What relationship would any children they had be to my grandfather.

Children 5 & 6 were her first husbands but changed their surname to that of her second husband but child 5 was registered in her first husbands name and child 6 in her second husbands name when he was two. I do not think they were adopted.

Child 7 I know this relationship because she was my grandfathers full aunt.

Child 8 was my grandfathers father.

I would be grateful if anyone could explain the legal relationships between these people.

Thanks in advance.

Sal
