can any one help. is it possible to get a copy of a coroners report from 1952, if so where can i get one from |

The local records office may have a copy but there could be a 75-year closure (think that is the right expression); not all reports survive however, and sometimes there is an informative report from the relevant newspaper at the time. |

thanks for the reply, i have a copy of my grandfathers death cert and as he was killed accidentaly it metioned the coroners report |

Joy is right. So far I have always found the coroners report in the local newspaper. Very informative! Just contact the local library or County Records Office for the area in which the death occurred and you could well find the info you are looking for. Good luck! |
