Sounds a bit odd...assuming you have membership/subscription or were 'inivited' to view a particular tree by its owner.

If you just did an internet search for a name and were directed to the site, I can understand why you were shut out, if the above does not apply.

I used to be able to look at peoples trees on Ancestry but it is now telling me I have to pay is that right now?
