couldn't agree more - but he should have had more sense than to just turn up like that on the doorstep of a guy in his late eighties - my auntie had a major fit, goodness knows why - it happened years before my uncle met her. We, as a family, are so glad he wasn't a girl because my auntie always wanted a girl and she had four boys so big sigh of relief all round there!!! |

Ann, have to say I feel sorry for the chap - he probably could have been more sensitive but it's very hard to know what the right thing is and it's hardly his fault he found himself in the position he did:) |

certainly was - his mother was the poor unfortunate lass - had the child adopted, none of the family knew anything about him until he turned up unannounced on their door step too!!! this guy is a retired high ranking police officer - no brains obviously |

Had a hot match the other week and oh boy, what fall-out came from that - not for me as much as an uncle of mine. He's in his late eighties now and he was responsible for making a young girl pregnant when he was sixteen years old. This "child" now in his sixties just turned up unannounced on his doorstep - no denying parentage - he's the spitting image of my uncle!! what a dipstick he was for doing such an insensitive thing |
