We all know that life is short but should we follow our heart or our head? |

Sometimes one, sometimes the other. Try to act sensibly at all times, cant afford mistakes. |

You would think I would know by now to follow my gut instinct, in 1996 I let my head rule my heart, never again! |

I think as has been said it is a mixture of both. When you are young you follow your heart because you don't have the experience to do otherwise. As you get older experience teaches you to use a bit of common sense to temper your emotions. But it does depend on the situation and, as you say, life is short so sometimes we need to follow our heart if it is something we really want. |
