We get Herons, there was one the other day in the front field, dont know why he was toodling around over there as there isn't a lake or anything there. I have nut feeders/bird house feeder in tree out the front of the house and get a regular male & female Greater Spotted Woodpecker, a pair of nut hatches, sparrows (who like the nut feeders) and quite a few blackbirds, male & female and song thrushes. Plenty of blue tits too. |

I was amazed to see a Heron on a roof this morning, we have several here as a river is just across the road anyone seen any unusual Birds? We only have Jackdaws as they dominate the area very few blackbirds. |
