Opened my big mouth before finding out the task.
A friend of mine asked if I might be able to give her some advice. Me, I say OK. Then she tells me how her Dad fathered a child when he was 16. She's got no details as yet beyond the baby being a boy born about '64, '65 but she's going to see what she can find out from her Mum and siblings at the weekend.

Here we go again!

I helped a distant cousin trace his family, only to discover that not only was his surname not what it should be because his gggrandfather was illegitimate but took his stepfather,s name, but also that his father had been married twice & my relative has 2 half sisters by his father´s 1st wife.
All this was revealed 6 months ago & he´s still getting over the shock.
Our ancestors have a lot to answer for.
