For gods sake you lot,,,I didnt mean this to cause an argument,
We just thought it was a strange thing to happen..

1.The pub was full of 'non white; customers
2.The bar staff were 'non ethnic'.
3.My daughter and son in law are
respectable and well dressed so they werent refused a drink on the grounds that they were scruffy
4.The bar staff refused to serve them saying they were closing.
5.The time was 8-40 when bars in a city centre are open well after 11pm

Island
When i said 'racism in reverse it was because we seem to hear a lot about ethnics using the racsim card when things dont suite them. Its not very often we hear of the other side..complaing.

Just a strange face, they all wonder who or what you are.
Worste place was in Tererife was a Columbian bar,we drank up quick and left, due to the looks we were getting.

I don't think anyone could offer a worthwhile opinion on this unless they'd witnessed it to be honest. I dislike racism whoever it's coming from and whoever it's directed against but looks like there's a lot of assumptions being made to me.

I go to Manchester all the time.. Love it.. All the bars and Canal St with a friend i cant believe anyone - a ligitimate business would do such a thing - they would be breaking so many laws

I think they were so suprised they just walked out . I think that the bar staff could always deny it couldnt they.but im sure it would be a case of rascism.

Good idea Brian,,,i will have a chat to her about it.

You could try an anonymous hint to the race Relations Board (or does that only work in one direction?) or the local police (racism is as much a crime as dropping litter !).

They could report them to the brewery that owns the pub.

I suppose they'd deny it but I would be really miffed!
