I have an 80mm 20-60X for my spotting scope.
I have managed to get pictures from it using a digital camera looking into the eyepiece...... but it also just about manages to show the moons of Jupiter....

a six inch reflector would be adequate I THINK

GO HERE FOR SOME EXPENSIVE IDEAS!!lol

for astronomy,4 inch object lens/mirror is a good start point......but the bigger the better.....MORE light gathering....
