Is your reply box jumping after a certain amount of characters are typed??

Mine is and so are a few of my friends.

I think it's about time GR got it's self sorted out and gave us some more response than just a silly email telling us that it has been reported.

Why is nothing done about this problem.

It has started now so I will post as I can't see what I am typing.

Ihave the same problem Mel, and it's only happened since I upgraded to IE8. In fact I've had so many annoying problems I'm thinking of deleting it and going back to IE7.

I've reported it too, as it's really annoying, but heard nothing back from GR

I had this same problem shortly after I installed IE8......I too complained to GR & after a couple of weeks the problem went away. Don't know if GR solved it, or if was due to a microsoft update.

Me too!! its been a problem for quite a while for me. its annoying cos i dont look at the screen when typing as am a two fingered typist and i need to look at the keyboard when typing. When i do look up i find I havent written anything cos the page has jumped downwards,
I think it was after IE 8 was installed too

One alternative for IE8 users. Is to download firefox to their desktop (don't set it as hompage) & bookmark GR onto it.

That way you can use IE8 for everything else.

Sorry

If you open the link that I pasted in it tells you there how to solve the problem

This is what Mick suggested and it works;

I had this problem until quite recently. I was using Internet Explorer 7 at the time but the problem persisted in IE8. I tried using the Compatibility Button on the top of Internet Explorer and that resolved the problem for me.

OH well done Ginny. Never thought of the compatibility button, but that seems to have sorted it out.

Mel, your compatibility button is the one right next to the address box, with what looks like a sheet of paper torn in half.
