from 'Blogger'? re what email a/c goes with your blog and suggesting you click a link if you want to change password? I have deleted it but wonder if it was 'genuine' ?

I doubt it was genuine, it's phishing...you did the right thing Rose.

I agree with TW, it definately sounds like a scam.

If you forget a password to a site. You always go to the signing page of that site & click on the Forgotten Password link.

If a site ever wants you to confirm your logging in details, it will appear on the site itself, never in email...that's the easiest rule to go by I think.

So if you get an email asking for confirmation of details, delete it. If it's really them, they will set something on your log-in page anyway.
