THIS IS EXACLY AS WRITTEN TO YOU ALL WHO WORRIED

Hi Dizzi sweetheart, got your message on my Blog,..lol

Hope you are keeping well.

Its very neighbourly of you to help me out.

I do appreciate it, thankyou very much.

I went and had a dekko on Gr Chat page, and found "Joys thread"

Could you thank those who seemed a little concerned.

( I didn't` think anyone would notice I had gone...Ahhh, but its nice to be missed) ;-))

Could you Please convey my thanks to David and Rose for their info.

No wonder I couldn't`t find John BILLSON on 1841 census..only one L )

Thanks go to Mr Uggers..lol

Rose I noticed on the 1851 "transcription" for John BILLSON it stated,

John "Tom" Billston.

After seeing your given info I returned to the "image"and after carefully studying the whole of the "image" page I have come to the conclusion that "Tom" is actually "Wm".(badly written)

Something is still not right though !!! ..I am missing the obvious by the look of it...Doh!

I believe that on the census`s covering and including 1841 to 1881 that it is the same John William Billson in all of them.

I also believe that THE Susanna in 1841, 51and 61 died, could this be her....

Deaths Sep 1863,

BILLSON Susanna Nottingham 7b 118 ?
The Susanna in 1871 and 1881 is another person, I don't believe her true name is Susanna either,

I have found her on the 1891 census as remarried to an Edward Bradshaw.

(

Marriages Dec 1890, Bradshaw Edward .. to .. Billson Susanna Nottingham )
Found her again on the 1901, widowed yet again.

Her name now is "Elizabeth" Bradshaw.

Any way I seem to be rambling on (no pun intended Rose, lol )

Thanks again to all..

See you soon

For Budgie!

1851 John W 41and Susannah 48 with son William O.11

1861 John W 51
Susanna 59
( son William O boarder and gen servant elsewhere)

Death of Susannah 1863... I think you're right on that Budgie...

1871
John 61
"Susanna" 37
plus children

Linda
Sydney
Franklin
John W

Linda and Sydney are not in births as 'Billson' the other two are...so it might be that they are children from 'Susanna's prev marriage?
( add...there are a couple of Susanna Taylors that might fit)

Possible for Linda B

Births Jun 1863 (>99%)

TAYLOR Linda Bertha Nottingham 7b 198
AND !!

Births Mar 1865 (>99%)

TAYLOR Sidney Billson ! Nottingham 7b

so that looks very likely...well worth getting the birth cert!

1881 John W 71
Susanna 48
linda B 17
Sydney 16
Franklin 13
John W 11
Edward H 9
Bernard 8
Gertrude 4

then in 1891
Susanna remarried as Bradshaw

incidentally William Owen...John Williams son born 1839 seems to be William O died 1916 age 76 Notts.

Hope this helps
