My son has just found out thathe is being deployed a week on sunday, this has been bought foward by about 6 weeks,.
he managed to nip home tonight as he is duty driver for the week and has had an escort job to do locally , his OC let him pop home to tell me this news. I've known thisday would come but now he has told me the actual date i feel numb and sick, i have to try not to get upset in front of him or his younger brothers, i have to tell his dad tomorrow, as he is away at work at the moment. i hope that this sick feeling will not last the whole 7 months of his tour.

my bessie is out there at the mo, went back yesterday, hes been out there 6 months, home for 2 weeks r&r and he went bck yesterday,

i cant wait till hes back home again :(:(:(

Took son back to camp yesterday after doing all the goodbyes etc to his younger brothers, girlfriend, grandparents etc, only to find out the army have changed his deployment date to next friday, so had to bring him home and have to go through all that agony of goodbyes again in a few days time.
