Other half is at home so I have been in the bath and thinking about the atitude bit.

You see,Liz,he was always an awkward old git and it may surprise you to know that I was never the most deferential of daughters. His stroke has not really changed his personality, just reduced his opportunities.
His having a stroke was sure as Hell's awaiting you never going to turn me into Mother Teresa so there was no other way to play it.

Anyway,it seems too work.

That is just great Sharron. You are a wonderful woman. Not that your dad would agree. He would call you a bossy boots. But where would he have been without you? Six feet under possibly.

Huia.

Sharron, all credit to you and your Dad for getting this far, I hope you will be sending him to see the docs in the hospital that gave up on him!

Heaven forbid I end up in the same situation as you or your Dad, but if I do I hope I will remember your way of dealing with such a difficult situation. Long may your Dad reign as King of the Village Hall lol
Oh and mind your halo don't slip and strangle you lol

They are a weed here too but it keeps him out of my way picking them.
He has gone to the lunch in the village hall and he is going to be soaked when he comes back to do all this washing up I have created,tee-hee!

Last time he went there was only one second portion of pudding left and they walked straight past everybody else to give it to him,the chosen one!As if he couldn't make his own enemies without their help.

Have not had any fresh blackberries for a few years now. Every time we find a good patch they are sprayed with poison. All blackberries here are sprayed, do not know why as it does not stop them from spreading but it does stop you from being able to eat them. And yes, they really are a weed here, but I do love to eat them.

Sharron, what can I say?! He has done very well to do what he does, but at the same time I know it's through your pushing him that has helped him be able to do what he does.

Three years ago yesterday my dad was sent home by the hospital because he was making no progress.Sent home to die,if he could only find the time.
We didn't celebrate and only remembered when we came home from leaving him on his own all day with two loads of washing and his own meal to cook.
Today he has to go out and have his dinner in the church hall if the weather holds,it stopped him shopping this week.
