We also have tomatoes in pots in the greenhouse. And I also have about 20 hanging baskets.

Yes Ann, I have grown them several times. I gave my father a hanging basket of three, one year for Father's Day. He thought it was a brilliant gift. Know-all cousin was equally impressed, and went out and got himself some of the same. But, I have that many hanging baskets about in the summer, about 20/30, I am running out of space to hang them.
I always feel that when everything has gone out the greenhouse, I could be utilising the bench space, and grow something in large pots. Last year I grew peppers and chillis, and was very pleased with the results.

Thanks Joan, for going to the time and trouble. I seem to think I bought them in Woolworths, so the seeds would have been either Bee's Seeds, or Cuthberts, neither of which I think are still in existence.
By chance we went for a run out this afternoon to a garden centre, and I managed to get a packet of Thompson & Morgan's Venus Tomatoes, which can be grown in large pots on the greehouse bench, which is ideal for me, as I have benches down both sides.
How are you going with your snow from yesterday. We're just having abit of a throw down, but I do not think it will be much.
Once again, many thanks

Has anyone grown this variety of tomatoes. I did about 25 years ago, and would like try them again. They are a small bush variety, grown in a plant pot, and can even be grown on a windowsill. I need to know the seed manufacturer, so that I can buy some seeds.
Many Thanks
