I have come across a baptism record in the parish of St Matthew, Stepney . The scanned image of the record shows the letters "FuP" hand written on the left hand side. I have not seen this on any baptism records before, does anyone know what this stands for? I have tried googling this under geneaology abbreviations and nothing has come up. Any input would be helpful. Thanks. |

Carol, thank you kindly for that. There is a question mark concerning my ancestor who is supposed to have been orphaned, taken in and raised by her sister and husband as their own daughter. That now makes sense. |
