I collect hand carved wooden animals. I love most of all my upright oak duck (it's a bout 18 inches tall) and sits next to my butler sink and as my kitchen is all oak it looks a treat there.

I also have an Iguana that sits on a tree trunk, anyone that sees it for the first time always thinks it's real. I have a large Lizard, a Giraffe (bought back from Africa thats about 2 ft tall) and a Thai man fishing with a little wooden little fish at the end of his rod (a gift from a friend from Thailand).

Oh and I love tea towels (sad i know) and wherever I go, esp to say the west country, I always buy loads....

Thanks, JBE, for your added wisdom. I just thought that a stein was a very large pint jug! Didn't realise it had a lid on,lol.

Hadn't heard about the lid to stop drugging! Makes you wonder though.

Thanks for your input!

Yes, secondhand old gold rings. I could drip bling for England.
Every six weeks I go onto a street in our town to have my hair cut, but next door is a jewelers, that advertise for these items. I cannot go passed the window without buying something. But, I can't wear them all at once, 'cause they would get in the way of me knitting needles. LOLOL

Elephants! I had dozens of them, but most went at a car boot or charilty shop, and I only kept the best of them.

I have a small collection of wedgewood and various crystal pieces too...but most of those are put away in boxes now. I just can't bear to part with those.

There is also a collection of fairies in my living room. OH keeps buying them for me, but I don't really like them. LOL shhhhhhh
