ad for 118 434 -
another singing advert - almost as bad as go compare

They definitely annoy me, Maggie - that and the hair dye that (I think) Davina McCall is advertising where it says in small letters that her hairstyle includes hair extensions.

One other one I haven't seen for a while is one of the Neutrogena ones aimed at teenage skin where the girl is complaining that she gets spotty, so she gets stressed and then she gets more spots - and her skin is totally clear to start with! I've only ever seen one commercial about a product for teenage skin that showed real people in before and after clips (and the "after" ones were much better lit than the "before" ones!) and they drive me mad because I've had problem skin since I was 11.

People that make these adverts must think we are silly - to believe the hype.

Anyone notice in the 'Mabelline' mascara advert - in small letters at the beginning - 'filmed with inserts & post production enhancement' - ie not like it really is!!
Same with hair products - 'filmed with extensions' etc, and the 91% (of 25) agreed!!

They ALL annoy me!!!

I don't like the 'Go Compare' advert either.

I find the government one about catching benefit frauds disturbing.
The b*st*rds tried to 'catch' me - and I wasn't a fraud !
First time their records were wrong.
Second time they accused me of working when I was at Uni. Very very threatening - shame they were so intent on catching me they failed to realise the local council pays a month in arrears!!
I offered to let them take me to court - but they strangely backed down LOL

Oh - and the CSA deducted 6 weeks benefit from me for 5 years when my ex went to Australia. I couldn't provide an address! (That would be because he hadn't given me one!!), and I refused to lie and say he was violent and I was afraid of him!!!!!

Anyone else on this site really annoyed by that advert advertising bankrutcy plans (think it was from trapped.co.uk) that just flashes and moves around so much that it really distracts you?

That guy on Go Compare does have a fine voice though.

I find the one where the cat is the little boys best friend a bit disturbing.

At least they seem to have got rid of the stupid kid who wanted to poo at his friend's house, how I hated that ad lol!

The other ad I hate at mo is the Halifax one trying to do a radio show -

I love one I saw recently for cat food, showing that cats are the original freerunners - really clever whoever thought of that!

and for those who don't know what freerunning is;

One of or my first post on here nearly 5 years ago was asking if anyone else hated the Pot Noodle Horn ad as much as I did, got quite a response.
Right now, I can't think of the worst ad but I am impressed with the new ads showing a young teenage couple, with her being subjected to domestic violence with the mesage sent out young, that domestic violence is not the way to go.

Definitely We Buy Any Car - it scares me to think they might actually have paid a PR company to come up with that terrible song! I don't think I'd even call it a jingle.

I like the Whiskas one with the little boy and his cat, though!

When Go Compare comes on I switch channel.

After that , anything which has women's ugly cream. What a waste of money they are. 84 out of 171 said it made my face feel moister. What? put your head in a bucket of hydrating fluid (water that is) Costs next to nothing.

Meercats is the only one that makes it at the moment. Brilliant........and..... so.... simples.....!

every time it comes on my oh mutes the tv, my daughter has learned the words and sings it , the other one is that double glazing bogoff one ive hated that for years xx
