The gardens was a lovely place to sit and relax away from the bustle of the shops (1960's) or watch people playing the game of draughts. When I was up there a couple of years ago you could see it was being neglected and we wondered why the council was abandoning it ( or so it seemed) such a shame. |

I just copied this from the Annie Lennox blog page, about the Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen. Annie Lennox has added her voice to the complaints about the latest monstrosity that seems to have the go ahead to build over the traditional gardens in Aberdeen. |
