Got email from GRO Mary McLaughlin Marys father was,nt Henry on the cert i oder refunded 4 pound,so back to the drawing board again |

If they came back to the UK you should be able to find her in 1891 and 1901. |

Hi Shirley,no i have,nt got the cert as yet it was alady who sent me the message she thought it might possable be her as Bernard was in the 3rd battalion riffle brigade,thought if i could find his regtiment serving in India then i would have the right couple |

Have you actually bought the cert as there are 4 couples on the GRo record so how would you know which one Mary may have married? |

You have her on the 1851 census aged 15 so a little young to have married in 1851 too. although i know its poss as I have a grt gran who was 15 years ten months when she married!. The only way to eliminate .or not, would be to buy the marriage cert if you cant find her on later census as Mary Riley |

Sorry Rose always get muddled up,Mary was born in 1834 in the U.S.A her sister Anne was my g,grandmother,Mary and her family came back to England Kent if i can find out if Bernard Rileys regt was in the Indian Munity than i,ll no ive got the right one Mary was sent for by Queen Victoria she sent acoach to bring Mary to the palace for her bravery in the war as she climbed over slain bodies to bring water back to her hubby i no shes buried in Camberwell with honours ,but with out adate when she died and dont have her married name i cant look for her,does this make sense |

If she's your great aunt then her sibling was your grandmother or grandfather. That can't be correct given that they married 160 years ago. |

Ive got my g,aunt Mary Mclaughlin married to Bernard Riley in 1851 in the city of London ,but would like to ask how can i find out if shes my g,aunt also here hubby was serving in the 3rd battalion of the riffle brigade,if he was in the Indian Mutiny than i no ive got the right one ,thank you |
