No it won't affect your account at all.....I've deleted mine several times without problems.

Mind you, I don't think I would want to try it today with all the gremlins at work on here today LOL

If you look under help at FACs it says this regards to deleting trees - maybe a mail to support to confirm your whole account wont be removed may be a good idea just incase :o))

How do I delete my tree? You can remove your family tree leaving only your registration details by clicking this link

Your request to completely delete your tree will be placed in a queue and deleted shortly afterwards. The deletion of your tree is not instant.

....I want to delete my tree on here...i have sent it to meself, so if i delete it will i lose my account
