Mangoes were on offer in Lidl so I have spent the day slicing and grating and grinding.I can't help thinking that anybody with even a little more sense than they were born with would just buy a jar of mango chutney. |

I am sure it will be worth it Sharron. Gwynne, I don't think they do the tall jars any more all I seem able to get are squeezy jars. I did have an ordinary jar from S*********s but it wasn't the same as the other used to be, the flavour is not the same. |

Yes we loved the chunky one too. We eat it all year round with ham and other cold meats. I like it with sausages too. |

Is this the tallish jar that has a green label on. I am sure I have seen it recently. Will have a look in M******sons on Friday, as you have got me curious now. |

Sharron, this is for you especially. I fancy making a Pineapple Upside Down Cake, which I have not done for years. I recently bought a smaller sized loosed bottomed cake tin, as there is only two of us now. It is only 6", 15cm size. I have printed off a recipe, but note that the tin size is 23cm. Do you have any suggestions, other than halving the ingredients. |
