Hi Everyone

Just wondered whether anyone had any nformationa on William Windsor 1835 married Emily Sergeant, any information like parents???

Also Dorothy Windsor Maybe born 1919 partner, parents, siblings children?

Although there is nothing *wrong* with requesting help on this board, you may be better off on Trying to find as people expert on doing look ups don't necessarily wander over here.

If you do decide to repost, delete this thread so info provided (hopefully) isn't duplicated.

In the meantime, do you know when and where William and Emily married? I've done a search on FreeBMD from 1855-1870 and couldn't spot one. If you can find a record, the cert ought to give the father's names and occupations.

As presumably you know where they lived, have you been able to find William in the 1841/1851 census with family?

Re Dorothy Windsor

Look on freebmd. There are loads of that name born 1917-1926 in different parts of the country. If you spot one which is likely, it will give mothers maiden surname.

Then search for a date range of your choice, put Windsor in the surname and mmn, in the mother's surname box. Leave other name boxes blank. If there are transcribed siblings, they should show up.
