I am helping my friend James Brendan Henry (1944) trying to locate any family members originally from Ireland......he was born in Banbridge,Ballyvally. After WW2,after his father Hugh Henry (rifleman)was killed, Margaret Henry nee Greenfield took James to live in Scotland.
James knows nothing about his fathers family and yearns to know
The Greenfield clan still reside in & around Banbridge
A lot of secrecy surrounds Hugh Henry and we can't find out what it is, either good or bad we want to know
Can any one help please?
We know Hugh went MIA after being shot down over Groesbeek in Holland and his name is etched on a concrete panel in the Canadian War Memorial
