Not a major sympathy thread by any means, but:

I am sorting out my paperwork this afternoon (all the yukky financial bits ...) which I HATE doing, but needs must.

AND

I still have this wretched cold so am sneezing and blowing and snuffling.

Not a good day ...

I feel dreadful!!!

I'll swap what you have with what my 10 year old daughter needs....On Thursday she has to have 2 steroid injections for her JCA

My sympathy Jill, I have just had the most horrible cold and spent all week feeling really wacked out. Always worse when you have just returned from holiday. Blame the airline air con.

It's odd Ann - I was really rough with it on Wednesday and thought that was the worst day. Today I feel worse ... it's like it's gone backwards!

Still, I have been clearing out all sorts of old paperwork - two recycle bags full of it!! And shredding for England - wish I had a rabbit or something to save recycling all of that too!

Hope you are on the mend now. Put your feet up and keep warm for another day or two!

My sympathy Jill, I'm expecting to start any time now with my allergy to tree pollen, get it every year when the trees come into bud, like having a bad cold for at least a month. Didn't realise what it was for the first three years and we live in deep woodlands.

And you call yourself May Blossom, probably the worst one too LOL.

Get some beconase, I use it every year. WE have woods near us and the tree pollen gets me every year. Beconase soon sorts it out though.

You can get it from the chemist. It's an anti allergy nasal spray. It'll lessen the sensitivity in your nose to the pollen.

Thanks Teresa, will ask chemist before I buy whether it's OK for me, not allowed decongestiants with the meds. I'm on, can only take para if I have a cold.

Always best to ask. It's exactly the same stuff, only weaker, as the med in the brown inhaler for asthma.
