As in describing someone/something.

I imagine a beautiful home with tasteful decor and furnishings and owners who dress immaculately in designer clothes

I have a home badly in need of decorating and furniture that has seen better days........but it is all paid for:) lol

with a fork instead of your fingers!!

I always thought that if a person was 'Posh' it meant they were quite well off, spoke nicely, had a nice home and nice clothes.
I hate to say this but, my right handed pinkie always sticks out and up even when drinking a pint of beer Lol. I have no control over it.

I am getting rather serious about this now. How do I know if I am a Phleb?
Also if one is born a Phleb and then through circumstances bettered theirselves how would one describe oneself?

I think "posh" means different things to different people. After speaking to family in the UK we eventually visited them. A couple of rellies said that when I spoke on the phone I sounded posh but when they met me they thought I was down to earth and good for a laugh. Still not sure if they meant I was as common as muck but it sounded like a compliment. The "posh" bit didn't though.
