Hello

I am not interested in the personal matters of any footballer.

This alleged affair was only disclosed because an injunction was lifted on the story.

Otherwise, the public would not have known about this.

However, Thierry Henry blatantly cheated.
He is supposed to be a professional sportsman.
The match was televised and the incident repeated again.

The referee did nothing.

I'd say this is more of a damaging incident to the reputation of football than an alleged affair.

Fair point there Elizabeth.

I don't think it's done him any favours though ultimately (quite rightly)...he's going to be tarnished by that for the rest of his career.,,,much like Maradona and the *hand of god* xx

No give him his due (and as a Spurs supporter it doesn't come easily lol) he DID show remorse about it and tried to do something about it.

no matter how sportmanlike you 'd like to think you are, that would STILL be in the front of your mind.........
