Heating on full whack and I;m still blinking freezing.

Don't think I've ever wanted to see Spring more in my life....though I'm sure there must've been winters every bit as cold.

Before this what is the coldest winter you can remember? Because I can't think of one ! xx

Muffy, I know what you mean, I don't usually feel the cold but I think having a lousy summer followed by a wet windy winter is just too much!!

It's the first time ever I have hung curtains over the kitchen windows and door to try and keep the heat in and cold out!!

But I'm still getting draughts from somewhere?

Maybe its me age?

Oh boy are you in for a shock , i live in Wanneroo in WA and today has been bloody hot , even the the air con can't keep up with it ,so please bring some cold weather with you please .

Oh dear ! I don't do hot weather either ...Roll on the spring..or autumn for you guys ...these extremes are a bit much aren't they ! xx

Coldest winter? for me it would be 1963...... and I have always felt the cold... well, I did until I reached a certain age *wafts fan in front of face* Is it me or is it hot in here? lolol

Hubby came home on a course in 1980 or 81, I think... and it was very very cold then, but I was living in Cyprus, so not too bothered by it! lolol

Been 39.6 here in Perth today, now 35c at 5.50pm, second hottest summer on record, roll on winter. Annabel

My central heating broke on the Friday the schools broke up which meant we only had an electric fire and a shower to rely on. By the time they finally fixed it the following Friday I felt like a block on ice. Now I've had the turn the heating down drastically and use it for less hours each day.

Today I've currently got the back door open and the heating has been off since 8am, although it is due to come back on in a few minutes. I'm not cold though.

Might as well take no clothes as I wont be needing them ....Much ! LOL

I am bored with the weather, than actually being cold. But, it is a lovely sunny day her today, though very cold. I want it to warm up so that I can start gardening, even sowing seeds in the greenhouse. But then I would have to put heat on, at present,and that can be costly
Just have to be patient abit longer. Boo Hoo

the sun is shining, but its still cold haha, i was gna walk baby S, over the swing park before school, but walked outside and got as far as me mams for a warm lol,
think we will wait till real summer haha xx

I love the cold weather, esp the snow (altho all gone now) cos I love getting the multi fuel fires goin in the lounge and the dining room. But, I am getting fed up of the cold now and it would be nice to get some warmer weather. I'm like Julia, I want to get out in the garden and start doing some seeds...I need to dig over my veg plot.

Beautiful day here today, very spring like, blue sky brilliant sun and very mild.

To everyone, I had to go into the greenhouse, just now for some compost to repot up an indoor display. Just to get me hands in a bag of compost was shear delight. The sun was on the greenhouse, and I had a top on, so if this keeps up for a few days, I'll make a start on the cleaning up in readyness. My first time in there since November. I live in hope.
