Thanks to all for the replies. I am now abandoning GR to prepare the dinner. I will give it another go later.

Hi All.
Glad I´m not alone.
Can´t get into the site to start with & when I eventually do, can´t change boards or pages without a message from Firefox saying it can´t connect to the page. Can´t reply to messages. This has been going on since Saturday & I´m just about ready to scream.
Several people have done look ups for me & I can´t even let them know that I´m grateful.
What´s going on ?

had problems too this morning .had to log out un plug the PC cos OH is decorating my Office (smallest bedroom!!) and he wanted to do some sanding down of filled in cracks . Just logged in again and got straight in .
I am on Virgin Broadband

I Think you will find that it is gr's server that is causing all the problems not google I E or firefox,i am on 20mg broadband and have the same problems as you all ,lol, welcome to the gr club Fred

Just spent several minutes answering you,pressed subit & Guess what?
So if you get 2 messages, you will know why.
Quite spring like today. Blue sky & sunshine, but a very nippy wind. Not had a bad winter on balance although very wet. Nothing like you have had, nor the mainland, poor souls.
Looking forward to summer.

Mine too was the same over the week end. I don't think the problem lies with Firefox as Google Chrome is producing the same problems.

What's your weather like at the moment please?

Having the same problems here in Menorca since Saturday.I use firefox too & keep being told that the server can´t access the page. If I persist long enough I get it eventually, but it´s a real pain.

Swapped from Firefox to Google Chrome but I have still got the same problem.

We had a sirocco that went on all Friday night. The wind was so strong but very warm. Lost a few tiles off of the wall and it took the tallest part of the palm trees near the top gate down. Took forever to clear up the mess. Back to normal now, warm and sunny but more wind expected later in the week!

No problem here Wendy, could it be your browser causing it. The other day I had a similar problem and discovered our browser (Firefox) was doing updates.

Hope you are both OK and enjoying the sunshine!!

Anyone having problems with GR. It either takes forever to open a thread or turn a page or it times out altogether. It says all the little bits at the bottom of the screen, connecting... waiting for GR etc. It's driving me crazy
