wmsl... Puss I did that with that stuff you rub on to make your skin tan slightly... not self tan, but moisturiser stuff... I thought it was shower cream... used it for days, and whinged and whined cos it wasn't lathering up... I felt a right prat when I read the destructions, lol

Oh.... and my glasses steam up, so they are neither use nor ornament, anyway, lolol as I don't have a bath, just a shower.

Love

Daff xxxxx

We only have a shower, one thing I miss is reading in the bath, glasses and all!

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 1 Mar 2010 19:42

Yes, I got it.... I will reply, promise, lol.... and I bet there are no wrinkles on your tattoo, either... did you know that anusol is used by models to keep laughter lines away? Truly, really, now would I fib about something that glamorous? Wmsl....

Oh... and I have TWO GR cats, lol.... and not many can say that one of those was named Daffodil after her.... even though the poor little mite was male not female, lol.... he still has an identity crisis, you know ;¬))

They are rather beautiful, aren't they?

Sorry the photos weren't clearer.... I lost my decent camera in Peterborough... hubby got me the one I used at your vow renewal to fill in for a while... but I have a new one now that is much better, all singing and dancing, lolol..... but I think there were some good bits on it that I managed to crop...

Love

Daff xxxx

Going off on a tangent here slightly... but talking about glasses - am I alone in that I can only take a telephone call with my specs on!? Seems I can hear better that way! (OK, I know it sounds daft!)

hi jean yes a bath always has that calming affect you can read your book and no one interupts some how stood up in the shower dont seem that relaxing xx
jan the minute i get out of bed before anything else goes on ts the glasses, the phone in our home is usually a sign for everyone to distract me and ask me stupid questions like they cant see im on the phone xx

lol daff, we went to try the new caravan out and i wanted a shower, not being used to showers i was wary of just getting in there, i turned the shower on pulling out my arm qickley before i wet my top, the door was a concertina type one, i managed to open got inside and closed it, something felt strange and all of a sudden i couldnt see my glasses had steamed up, not only that i still had my top on, so i cant see ive got water running in my eyes i try opening the door but i got wedged so the toilet compartment is getting soaked im scared off slipping , walls floor carpet outside bathroom all soaked, got out got me top off glasses off back in then it went cold, dont like that shower xx

jan50 Report 1 Mar 2010 20:58

Oh, Lady! I do have my jimjams on when getting outta bed: At least I think I do - best put me specs on to make sure!
Laser treatment? Mmm. I've pals who've had it done and there's fors and againsts... Some had no problems at the time but have had some years later. Not an easy decision, methinks.

love it Puss......lol....... I find I have to peer at the bottle to work out if it is a shampoo or conditioner.......then smell it, and if that isn't positive then I put some in my hand if my glasses are not around to see which one it is.....

......the condition is usually not as thick as the shampoo......

Yeah! I remember those NHS frames when I was a kid! Round pink plastic frames with stretchy wire going round the ears! Ugh! (This was before the 70s, I hasten to add - and trying not to give me age away!)

Ladylol, didn't just have laser treatment had lens replacement first then they just finished it off with some lasers.
Would l recommend it...................well it worked for me but the laser treatment l just had was quite painful for 48 hours but now l will not have to wear glasses for distance and for reading might have to use them sometimes for small writing.
Would not recommend the optician l went with, trouble with them from day 1 and at a cost of £3500 not cheap ( birthday present from my mum).
