Happy St Davids Day. I have found a relation in the 1911 census residing at her majestys pleasure in Dartmoor prison. Said relation was born in Cardiff 1881 and died there in 1929. I have no idea of his crime and assume those records are kept at the Nat.Achives. Anyone know if I can access old newspaper articles from that time period online. I don't know where the crime was committed but I thought that I would start in Cardiff. Thanks Sue

You could ask the Cardiff Library to search in local papers, although they will probably charge.

Have you searched archive.timesonline.co.uk? Or google searched his name?
