The background is that my friend needs something that proves her Mother was living with her now deceased partner at that time. So obviously names and address aren't the problem, but she needs some kind of document to confirm it, but it sounds like it's not going to be quite so straightforward lol

hope some one can help - enquiring on behalf of a friend as i don't know the answer.

Is it possible to view a record for 1978 or thereabouts??

I've never used/done ER checks hence why i don't know the answer
