Hi Linda
If you go onto the thread titled Just Jean, I'll nudge it up in a minute, there is a lady on there called Deborah who lives in Jersey. You could ask on the thread or message her and ask.
Jersey is lovely, we didn't hire a car, went everywhere by bus. If you like museums the St Helier museum is very good, if you like castles there is Gorey Castle, it depends what sort of things you like to do. And when you are going, where you are staying.

I think you would like Gorey Castle then. The Gold place is quite interesting (and tempting) and on a bus route from St Helier.
We spent our honeymoon there in 1960, re-visited in 2000 and are going back this year in August.
We didn't visit it last time we went but I think I am right in saying there is a war cemetery there, Debbie could help with that one.

Hi everyone, can i just say a heartfelt thanks to all those lovely people who gave me ideas for our Jersey break. We had a fantastic time, we hired a tandem for four days and we went to Durrell, Mont Orgueil, War tunnels, Maritime museum, Jersey museum, we also took a bike ride up to the C. I. museum (in the bunker) but it was shut, so we had a nice walk on the beach, picked up a few shells to bring home, then we were kindly asked if we wanted to have look in a Martello tower that gets rented out. Jersey Folk are very nice and so helpful and considerate, we would deffo recommend Jersey as a superb holiday destination.

Linda

Hi Linda,

Good to hear that you had a lovely holiday. A few of us on MoinKents thread
were wondering how you were enjoying yourselves. Debbie, living in Jersey
was hoping that it wasn't too cold for you .

Love, Sallie.x
