Please sign the petition if you believe the cover up is disgraceful.
Little James cannot have his right to life like Venables & Thompson.
They are protected and it is Wrong!!!
I believe James's parents have a right to know what Venables has done to breach his parole if you agree then please sign.

I have a bit of a dilemma with this.

On one level I think we all have the right to know.

On the other hand...if he has commited a criminal act and it's waiting to come to trial...the whole case could be prejudiced if he claimed that he didn't get a fair trial because his crime was made public ...

Kat Report 4 Mar 2010 18:53

How can he claim that when we don't know his identity and he is protected by the laws that be?if there is a case waiting to come to trial then I hope he get's everything he deserves and more and that he stays locked up like he and Thompson should have in the first place.

Legal loopholes and all that Kat.

Whether or not the he was identified as Jon Venables or not he could still claim because of the publicity that he wasn't given a fair trial.

And I for one would NOT want that.

I'm content to wait and see for now...

I can see what you mean but it's all blimmin wrong our Justice system anyway. It always get's me how much help the criminals get while the victims have to fight for any help.

Was it announced officially Budgie or was it the report from the Daily Mirror this morning?

Kat Report 4 Mar 2010 19:17

Lynda do all the other lifers get new identities?? and perhaps it's because this case horrified so many.
Yes I heard about the supposed fight at work and his involvement with drugs but who knows if it's the truth.......

Yes - they have a right to know.

If a crime is sufficient to give a person a hidden identity he should not be allowed to marry have children or work with children.

It is incrediable to think that an innocent woman could marry him unknownly.

Sadly its too late for James - but protect members of the public - don't cover it up! The evidence has not been judge yet. It should only come to light when a decision has been reached. Either way - it is in the public interest to know.

Lynda may I just add that soon there is a law to be passed so parent's can find out if any sex offenders are living nearby, I think parents also have the right to know of any other released criminals that may impose danger to there children.
To be given a new identity and the lengths that the system have gone to to protect these criminals in my eyes is wrong.
How do any of us know anything when they are protected.
The innocent should be protected not the criminal, and you sound surprised at what some people are saying. What they did to James is SICKENING!!!......and perhaps my emotions are getting the better of me here but my daughter went to school with James's cousin and I lived day's having to support my young daughter who is now a grown woman and this is one little boy we will never forget.
This thread is for Justice for James not to defend the perpetrators of his SICK MURDER!!!

I'm signing, and it;s on FB.....................

Some people like to defend the indefensible...............some people can't imagine how it must feel to lose a child to such a heinous crime....

I feel sorry for Denise Fergus, my compassion is for her, not the criminal..and it always will be!!
