I do know that, according to the Bible, anyone who commits 'Onanism' should be killed.
That's most of the male population extinct then!! LOL

...as for being 'pro life' and advocate the death penalty, it means the subuing of women - ie no abortion, but kill anyone/thing that goes against biblical text.

On the plus side - you can have slaves and sleep with them!!

Just looking at their website, and like many another, at first glance it seems 'admirable' in its intent of supporting the family, extolling virtue.... but when you start to look further ....scary stuff to be honest, i don't think i even want to quote some of it here, it is so repugnant to me!

Quote The AFA is a conservative Christian group that promotes traditional family values based on bible teachings. End Quote

Sorry I am mystified as to how their statement is supported by the alleged values.

Who the frick are' The American Family Association'????

I'm now going to found the 'Let's be Bleedy Realistic Association'.
Wild animal - bathtub - not aware of the manners 'humans' live by - tough luck!
As for quoting the scriptures - My 'Crudens' isn't handy but if I could find it and work out the word they would have used for 'idiots' - I'm sure I could find a suitable bibilcal quote for these......people?

*Crudens* - a book, like a dictionary, where you put in a word and it leads you to a biblical quote!

Whales are big animals, the only place for them is an ocean...not the flippin equivalent of a bathtub. If those 'looking after' the whale get mauled....sorry, but too bad.

But to Rose's question.....unfortunately, lots of people or organisations claim to be pro this and anti that...while the pro actually opposes the anti and vice versa. Just listen to our politicians...

I'm sure they know better than me, but I can't help thinking that (as in the photo with this item)

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1255453/SeaWorld-whale-killed-Dawn-Brancheau-stoned-death.html)

wearing a black and white wetsuit was asking to be seen as another whale? and therefore one who could be dragged under the water in 'play' ? just a thought .

yep at the end of the day the whale is a wld animal, and was takign from its natural surounding and made to perform against its antural instincts,

i dont think for one minute the whale should be killed, lets face it, it didnt "know" right from wrong"

Hypothetical question , as sadly I know the answer,

Re the recent death of whale trainer

"The American Family Association have added to the controversy by saying Tilly should be stoned to death for killing.
'If the counsel of the Judeo-Christian tradition had been followed, Tilikum would have been put out of everyone’s misery back in 1991 and would not have had the opportunity to claim two more human lives,' said Bryan Fisher on the AFA website.
'Says the ancient civil code of Israel, "When an ox gores a man or woman to death, the ox shall be stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten."'
Fisher goes on to say that the ancient scriptures say the owner of the animal responsible for killing must also die.
'The Scripture soberly warns, if one of your animals kills a second time because you didn’t kill it after it claimed its first human victim, this time you die right along with your animal,' said Fisher.
The posting on the group's website is meant to refer to Chuck Tompkins, the curator of animals at SeaWorld.
The AFA is a conservative Christian group that promotes traditional family values based on bible teachings.
It is pro-life and opposed to same sex marriages but also advocates the death penalty."

Aside from the comments re the stoning to death of the whale ( !!!!) ...how in Gods name can a group be both 'pro-life' and 'advocate the death penalty'?
