Deleting a duplicated person in tree

Hi All
Can someone please help me, I have somehow duplicated two people in my tree, but cant delete them, as it say cant delete when the person has children or something like that..
HELP !!!! I dont want this duplication on my tree... how do I get them off...

Delete the children first and gradually go back up tree and delete the other ones.
If there is somone you want to keep edit them to clipboard then delete and then copy them from clipboard to correct place.
