Can anyone explain to me, I have 200 people in my family tree, but how do I forward just one section of the tree to another member.
Sorry if I sound a bit dumb, but I am fairly new to computers and just learning as I go along.

If you mean your tree on Genes then I don't think you can. You either give them access to the whole tree or you don't. You could always just white out the names that you think may be relevant to them.

I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

Many thanks Kathleen for the reply. Someone sent me part of their family tree, so I was just assuming I could do the same. The person that did this was very experienced in computers so obviously did this by some other method. Thanks anyway for the reply I won't spend hours trying to work this out, will just send whole family tree.

There is one way, but it's a bit tedious to cover a large area. You can 'grab' a screen shot of a displayed section of the GR tree by doing CTRL+Print Screen. Minimise that screen.

Then open up Paint and 'paste' the image there. Then ''Save as' into a known directory, with a new filename, as a .jpeg image.

Now you can send that .jpeg image as an attachment to an email. Job done.
