You have to add the relatives one at a time as far as I know.

Hi Carol, Kitty's right.

Unfortunately the trees on GR aren't designed to import & merge one branch of a tree into your own.

If you try to import a gedcom file into your tree. It will overwrite your tree & you'll lose all family members & photos in your original tree.

The only way to add a new branch to your tree. Is as Kitty said, to add them one at a time. Copying & pasting each piece of info is the best way, as this will avoid potential errors in typing.

If you have FTM you can merge on that then send it to GR

GR used to merge them but that was a long time ago now
