GR informed me that I had new "Not matches" this morning.

Among the many that weren't even born in the same hemisphere was one with the tree owner's name as "Do Not Contact".

Not much point in him/her joining GR then, I'd have said.

Off to the LDS, so can't reply. But has anyone else seen anything similar?

Perhaps that was specifically for you, Guinevere;) Some of the hot matches are absolute tosh but I do have to defend the birthplace not being compatible when name and year is - I have so many people in my tree who give different birthplaces on census that I think it's necessary and that's before you take into account birthplaces misspelled or misunderstood

I take your point, Uggers, but 'imself has a William Smith and I would at least like it broken down to those born in the same county, or even the UK.

I have also got a "Do not contact" ,been there for the last three times,I havn't a clue why its there.

I went through mine yesterday. I had another look and noticed i had a new hotmatch 9 new names.....there are 9 but all the same name same contact lol
