At one of my distant relations funeral somebody broke a wishbone over the coffin, the family were originally from Ireland RC.I know the breaking of a wishbone traditionally means to make a wish, but have never heard of this happening at a funeral.
Could this be a gypsy tradition?
Has anyone got any ideas
