Does any one on here use a Acid Reflux diet?

I need to start on one,but at my age where do i start??

Helen I have a hernia, so its very much like your problem, I had scans and al lthe usual stuff, no op was needed yet, so can keep it under control by cutting out too many fatty things also bread and pastries cause me probs, I still have some treats sometimes, but as soon as I get the pain I know I have over done it, have you been to your doctor/ I have Gaviscone and ompezol capsules I always carry a box of rennies or such like. it can be helped ...

I do get acid reflux at night occasionally, I control it with Gavilast. I don't eat a high fat diet but have to admit it is usually alcohol that causes the reflux!!!

what symptoms do you get i think specky has it , he gets a burning pain in his chest and back xx

I used to have indigestion a lot when I was young,much of it,I think,due to stress,but have hardly ever had indigestion since I became a vegetarian.

The only thing that has given it to me consistently since then is beer and lager so now I drink cider.

Mine was from chemo, which disagreed with me. Have been on Omeprozle ever since, with the occasional gaviscon tablet. Dont eat fatty foods ever, make me ill.
