Hi Sheila, A friend came up last night and still had to detour at Mere, has it opened today. Don't want to use the road if I have to travel miles and miles around the blockage. |

The A303 was closed for repairs, but is now open again (ahead of schedule). |

A303 Mere Wiltshire - does anyone living in this area know why the A303 is closed at Mere? Visited my brother in Cornwall last week and was diverted absolutely miles and miles around Mere. I've been told this road blockage has been going on for a long time - Why? and when will the road be open? Going back down to Cornwall in April and think I will have to look for a much better route. |
