Aren't we lucky? My son came round with a wonderfully worded card and a huge bunch of tulips, my favourites, and then we went to the coast for the afternoon, had a lovely walk altho I am creamcrackered now lol, then we decided on fish and chips before the drive home, which he paid for, including o.h's for driving us to Cromer.

It was lovely to spend time with him and as always the words on the card got me all teary, he certainly learned well when he was younger and I showed him that the words in a card mean more than the picture, altho he managed to find a card with really lovely words and tulips on the front too.

Deanna, I am always surprised that my o.h. doesn't bother to send a card to his step mother, she has been in his life longer than his own Mum who died when he was 19 and has done a lot for him and his sisters and his children too.
