Sorry, yes, I'm a bit of a saddo when it comes to my garden! I love the birds though and have got lots of boxes all over the place - unless those b*****y tree rats come along and pinch the eggs or babies - then I go on the rampage ...!

That was lovely wasn't it Joy:)) I like foxes. A lot of people feed them round here and it doesn't worry me - I'm happy having all the wildlife coming in ;)

We're on dodgy ground here, Sam, be very careful what you say! A lot of people think foxes in their gardens are pets and ACTUALLY feed them. That's why every town in Britain is being overrun with foxes - a totally unnatural habitat for them. What's that noise I can hear in my garden now .... oh yes, it's the b****y foxes s******g again. What a bloomin' racket - loads of young foxes to come soon digging up my beds, burying chicken pieces, a pound of sausages here n there ( which i have dug up) eggs, tins, chewing my gardening shoes if I forget to bring them in, my favourite gardening gloves chewed and buried, pinching the goldfish from my pond and then discarding them because they don't like them - grrrrrrr! Pooing and peeing everywhere to mark THEIR territory in MY garden - I could go on and on ...!

On a more practical note, if you buy wire netting and put it over your bulbs in the pots or in the garden, the squirrels shouldn't be able to dig up any bulbs.
