Wether you like bikers or not, I think the parade of bikers through the town of Wooton Bassett, in honour of the troops in Afghanistan and to collect money fot the charity concerned, was a great gesture from those who are often reviled for their lack of social responsibility.

As a biker myself I thought the gesture from the 10,000 bikers today was brilliant. Apparently a fair few of them have children in the forces. I respect any group who respect our forces & the people of Wooten Bassett. They have done theirselves, Wootten Bassett & our forces proud today. Well done.

I was married to one and know exactly what you mean Jean.

They should all be proud of themselves, and with a charge of £5.00 each should raise £75,000.

WELL DONE TO THEM ALL

I only ever had a Honda C90, but it took me to work for 8yrs, while my son and OH went past me the other way in their cars! I did nights. Loved that bike, but had to give it up when I got angina. Dr told me I could kill someone if I had an attack while biking.

I thought they were amazing for even thinking of doing it without the money they raised too. It shows appreciation of the folk of Wooton Bassett for the respect they have shown which must have helped a little the families of those coming home and given them a chance to publicly show their loss.

There is good in almost everyone, you can't tar all bikers with the same brush the same as you can't tar others.
