	Hi All Dated 1859 and is. The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of The Sacraments and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church. it gives what to say and do from Baptisms to Visiting the Sick. A very interesting insight into the 19th Century Church. Darklord

	The Book of Common Prayer was used in churches until waaaaay into the 20th century, and still are in some. And I think they are based on earlier forms after the reformation. My mum has one from the 1800s too, can't remember the exact date, and the wording is exactly the same as in one I was given when I was born in 1959, which again is word for word the same as a newer edition in the church in the village I lived in when my kids were baptised.

	Hi There There is also the name of Louisa Jane Heaven on the inside of the book, no family tie to me, but trying to find out who she was now. DL
