I have lots of scanned images and want to make a family history book. Has anyone made one? I'd like to make it on my PC but have a printed copy made - or several copies. |

I have done something similar but more in the way of a scrapbook album with photos, scanned certificates and various documents. One thing I try to do is include social issues of the times - the reigning monarchy, industry and items of interest e.g. my OH's grandfather was born around the time of Jack the Ripper and whatever war, pandemic etc. is going on. Here in Australia an office supplies business will bind paper into a booklet for a fairly reasonable price so that may be an option for you as I'm sure you will find a similar service in the UK. Most of all - enjoy what you are doing. It doesn't have to be professional just enjoyable to read. |

There is a program called Legacy which has a family history book making feature. If you google Legacy you will probably find info on it. I have seen a printed copy of what the program will do and it is quite impressive. I use Legacy to store my offline tree. Not adventurous enough to try the bookmaking yet but perhaps one day. |
