If anyone has access to Canadian Lists on Ancestry 1865 - 1935, could you possibly look at an entry for me please?

Alexandra Bush born 1865. Arrival Quebec, Canada.

The person I am looking for is Alexandra Sophia Bush and she was born in England in 1865 and she emigrated to Canada with her family around 1880/1882 time.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Choccy,

Thankyou very much. This entry is so close it's not true ! !

The family were indeed travelling to Winnipeg.

The names I have are:-

Alexandra Sophia who was born in September 1865
Arthur Herbert who was born in January 1869
William Sidney who was born in May 1874

Not exact but very close . . . . . what do you think?

I do have that census entry.

If I send you a PM could you send me the actual list?

Signing off for tonight.

Hi,

This is strange, very strange !

I do know that Alexandra Sophia Bush b 1865, emigrated to Canada on 5th October 1882. She married Thomas P Carver in Winnipeg in 1889.

However . . . . she had a sister called Alice Maude b1870. But I did suspect that Sophia had had an illegitimate child and this could be it.

Thankyou whoever you are, this looks very much like a mystery has been solved after about 15 years ! !

It's a long story, too long to go into on here, but I will indeed obtain these certificates. It's not my family but actually a local history story I have been researching for many years.
