I don't suppose anybody on here knows Bremen at all.I am a bit interested in the Bremen Cog,because I am nerdy saddo,and wondered how feasable it would be to go to the Bremen nautical museum to see it.

I have been to Bremen but can't help you with the Cog what is it?

Bremen is a lovely town, beautifully rebuilt after the damage we did to it during the war.

It is their version of the Mary Rose really. It is a 14c ship that became exposed in the mud of the River Weiser.

There's an old Bronze Age boat in Dover if you are ever over this way.

Found a few years ago while doing road-works.

I'm not very into Bronze Age at the moment but it might be worth a visit.

The Mary Rose is about twenty miles away and I haven't been to that either.But I can see Goodwood racecourse from my back window.I went to a meeting for the first time last year because I had a job to do there.We were in there for four hours and didn't see one horse or one little man even.

I'd like to see the Mary Rose too when the museum re opens.
I grew up a few miles from Portsmouth and would like to see what they found so near to where we paddled !
