Medal 1: 4551 22 PT H J McKENNA REG1
Medal 2: 5451 PTEA MOROOCH LIVERPOOL REGIMENT

My gt grandfather recieved these when he was in the army and served in the boer war. Can anyone tell me what mean/ are.Can any one tell what regiment he would have been in?His name is Henry Joseph McKenna

Hi David. You have the answer to your query mate. Against the 2nd medal you've listed you've shown "Liverpool Regiment" so that's the unit he would have been in. Can I suggest you 'google' "Liverpool Regiment" - should be a load of info available. Hope this helps. Ron
